The expansion of superficial veins or their curvature is called varicose veins.
Laser or radiofrequency application is recommended in spider web varices between 1-2 mm in diameter. Those with a diameter of 2-4 mm benefit from sclerotherapy, that is, foam treatment.
Large-diameter vessels (pake) are candidates for surgical treatment, and nowadays, instead of open surgery, laser or radiofrequency endovenous ablation or venous sealing is used, where we attach the vessels with special drugs. These procedures are often performed under local anesthesia. Thus, we evaluate it as a daily treatment.
