He was born in Ankara in 1977. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Ankara University in 2001 and completed his plastic surgery residency in Ankara Training and Research Hospital in 2008. During his training, he had unique foreign experiences in the General Surgery Clinic of the Sheffield University School of Medicine in 2000 and in the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and General Surgery Clinics of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2008. He served as a Clinic Supervisor at Erzincan Military Hospital. He had been an instructor as a microsurgery trainer several times. He is continuing a PhD programme in Anatomy at Gazi University. He is a full Professor since January 2023, and fluent in English and beginner in German.
