HAIR TRANSPLANTATION
FUT (follicular unit transection), FUE (follicular unit extraction) and DHI (direct hair transplantation) are used in hair transplantation.
If the skin becomes visible with the naked eye, the hair density in that area has fallen below 50% of the normal density. In this case, the most effective treatment is the hair transplantation. Male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) is a lifelong event and slows down after 39-45 years of age.

One week before the operation, antiaggregants such as aspirin, coraspin, herbals and vitamins should be avoided. Cigarette consumption should be minimized. On the operation day a good breakfast can be done.

FUT
FUT is not performed in routine practise. It is of historical importance. The harvesting of the follicles is done with cutting your donor area surgically under local anesthesia so a scar tissue is established on your back of the head. Therefore, other techniques are superior by this means. Later, the tissue is cut under microscope and micro-mini grafts are inserted after the channels are opened in the desired area.
FUE
In FUE method, the hair on the back of the head that we define as donor area, is harvested under local anesthesia without scars. These follicles are genetically coded to exist lifelong. Harvesting process is carried out by using 0.6-0.8 mm micromotor or special punch systems, taking the hair follicle one by one. After the alignment of the grafts, channels will be opened upon desired fashion by specific instruments such as Zaffire handpiece. The practitioner may choose slit and/or punch techniques or combine all methods depending on your hair and baldness type.
Eventually you will be dressed. The next day after the first washing process will be done by the team.
You can have haircut approximately 20-25 days after transplantation. This situation differs according to the physiological structure of the patient.
After the first three months, you will experience hairloss at your grafted areas. From the third month, they will begin to grow, and when we reach the sixth month, 75% of the hair will be grown and approximately 95% of the year will be complete.
It is not appropriate to use a hat for 15 days after planting unless it is obligatory. For compulsory cases, it is appropriate to make a decision under the supervision of a doctor.
DHI
